Changes made in version 2.23 of the Cycle Plugin require the use of jQuery version 1.2.3 or later!

The Cycle Plugin is split into two parts: the core engine and the transition definitions. The core engine provides the 'fade' transition effect and all the logic needed for defining and using custom transitions. The Transition Pack includes all of the pre-defined transition effects for the Cycle Plugin.

For convenience, three downloads are made available. To get started, the easiest path is to download the Cycle Core with All Transitions bundle which includes all of the logic and transition definitions bundled in one file.

Note: If all you want is a fade transition and you don't need many options then check out the Cycle Lite Plugin.
